Lauren Double Back

The Tumbling classes are geared for students who want to tumble without learning bars, beam, or vault. 

 

Our Tumbling classes incorporate many useful pieces of equipment including a 40 foot tumbling trampoline, our double mini tramp, various mats, and spring floors to help fine tune techniques. 

 

 

 

 

Level 1 Beginning Tumbling

This is a beginner's class with emphasis on basic tumbling skills to include:

  • Body Positions -
  •      Hollow
  •      Open
  •      Closed
  •      Tight
  •      Arched
  • Forward Roll
  • Backward Roll
  • Forward Straddle Rolls or Pike
  • Backward Straddle Roll
  • Bridge
  • Bridge Kick over
  • Handstand
  • Handstand into Bridge
  • Backbend
  • Cartwheel
  • Round-off

 

Level 2 Intermediate

  • Cartwheel Step-in
  • Dive Rolls
  • Dive Cartwheels
  • Knee Round-Off
  • 3 Step Round-Off Rebound
  • Begin Round-Off BHS
  • Front Limber
  • Front Walkover
  • Front Handspring Step Out
  • Back Walkover
  • Back Handspring 2 Push Up Drill
  • Standing Back Handspring

 

Level 3 Advanced

In order to be in this class, students must have a standing Back Handspring.
